We sell framed Islamic calligraphy and original artwork for people who want something on the wall worth looking at twice.

Advertex began with a simple frustration: most Islamic wall art sold online is printed thin, framed cheaply, and photographed in a way that tells you nothing about how it will actually sit in your home. Scale is guessed at. Frames are an afterthought. What arrives rarely matches what was pictured.

We do it differently. Every piece in the collection is held as stock in a range of sizes and frame finishes, so what you choose is what we send. Pieces are framed behind glass, packed properly, and shipped from the UK.

How we choose the work

The collection spans traditional thuluth and naskh calligraphy, contemporary abstract treatments of Quranic verse, Mughal architectural studies, florals and figurative work. Some pieces are quiet enough for a prayer room; others are built to carry a wall on their own.

What they share is craft — the weight of the script, the depth of the ground it sits on, the way gold catches a lamp at the end of the day.

Each piece is available in three finishes: gold, black and natural oak. All are supplied ready to hang with fixings included.
